dragon-Fly M18
Back to FAQs-
What is the water storage capacity?
The dragon-fly has a water storage capacity of 7 litres
-
What is the capacity of water for immediate dispensing?
When collection tank is full, you can dispense immediately up to 6 litres of water.
-
How is the power consumption like?
It is approximately 600W.
-
What is the rate of water production?
Based on temperatures of about 25 - 30 degrees and humidity levels at 55 - 80% RH, the production is about 0.5 to 1 litre per hour
-
Where should the system be placed?
The unit should ideally be placed in areas with good/proper air flow, refraining any locations close to any form of toxic fumes.
-
If I need more than 6 litres, what should I do?
Besides air-to-water source, you can also have feed water piped in through the back of the machine as a secondary/supplementary source.
-
How pure is the water?
Besides being water extracted from air, upon demand, the stored water will go through a 5-stage filtration before being dispensed, which ensures the water is clear from any bacterial build-up during storage.
-
How often does the maintenance need to be done?
Cleaning of air filters should ideally be done once a month & the collection tank cleaned once a week, in the prevention of bacterial build-up from moist areas and water stagnation.
-
How often does the cartridge need to be changed?
Cartridges are due for change when the Change 1, 2 & 3 lights come on.
-
How long will the cartridges last?
Cartridge life depends on both consumption & air quality. As a gauge, it is recommended that cartridges be replaced every 6 months, or when the Change LED lights come on, whichever is earlier.
-
If the surrounding air is polluted (eg. During seasons of haze), how will I know if it is safe to consume the water collected from the air?
Water is safe to consume. At the point of dispensing, water will pass through a 5-stage filtration thus removing impurities or contaminants such as bacteria. However, please do not place the machine in enclosed areas such as chemical laboratories, laundry rooms or basements.
