eLife Energy Shower Filter eS-7
Back to FAQs-
What is the life span of eS-7? How long does this product last?
Depending on volume and frequency of usage, as well as water quality, it is estimated to last between 6 - 12 months
-
Why is the estimated life span such a wide range of between 6 - 12 months?
Besides volume and frequency of usage, a lot depends on the feed water quality. Life span is extended a lot more if water quality is good, without heavy sediments/contaminants. For regions with poor water quality, some form or pre-filtration (eg. Central Water Filtration System), is recommended to reduce the burden on your drinking filtration systems or shower-filters.
-
Do I throw away the unit once the lifespan is up? Is there no replacement of cartridge?
For this particular model eS-7, once it has reached its lifespan, you are advised to replace with a new piece.
-
How much chlorine can be reduced?
Through showers, we are exposed rather extensively to chlorine than drinking alone. The e-Life Shower helps reduce between 40% - 80% of chlorine, depending on the chlorine levels present in the water.
-
There is leakage at the inlet / outlet connection to eS-7 unit, what should I do?
You may try using scaling tape to stop the leak & tighten the unit.
-
Can the eS-7 be installed horizontally?
As long as the water pressure and flow permits, it is able to function vertically or horizontally.
-
The shower cannot be screwed on properly.
Please check the threading of the unit or the pipe connection.
-
Can the eS-7 inlet & outlet be installed in a reverse manner?
No, it is not recommended to install in a reverse manner, being the water pressure may loosen the cartridge in the unit, thus obstructing optimal performance.
-
My shower heater outlet is very close to the wall & there is not enough clearance to install the eS-7, what should I do?
The suggestion is for you to attach a flexi hose adaptor or elbow adaptor in between the unit & the heater.
-
Can I use hot water for eS-7?
Yes, you can enjoy your usual hot showers.
